Our GMC-registered team acts as a direct liaison with NHS staff in the UK, ensuring a seamless flow of information and support if an emergency arises. Should you encounter any complications post-surgery, we’re here to facilitate prompt communication with NHS professionals, making certain that you receive the necessary care without delay. In an emergency, your first step is to seek immediate assistance through the NHS. Once in a safe and stable environment, our team will work closely with NHS providers to coordinate your continued care, offering guidance and insight from your surgical history and ongoing recovery needs. This collaborative approach bridges your care between Turkey and the UK, providing you with comprehensive support.
YOUR AFTERCARE TEAM
Our aftercare team is here for you at every stage — they have all had bariatric surgery themselves, so have walked a mile in your shoes.
The plan will consist of 3 stages to ensure full support.
Our aftercare plan has been designed to support all patients during your early stages post surgery to adjust to the new way of eating.
Stage One of your plan starts with an intensive 6 weeks post-op support, guiding you through every stage following surgery and ongoing lifelong assistance if needed.
Additionally, our quarterly Anti-Diet Talk meetings which are held in the UK are open to all our patients, offering continued support no matter where you are in your journey.

The only possible cost to you whilst in Turkey is the need for gallbladder removal (which is optional). In the unlikely event that there was a complication, the only possible cost would be for the change of flights. everything else would be covered by MWLC Health Uk

In the event of a complication, the NHS is always available to provide emergency care. Additionally, we have a UK-based team, including a GMC-registered bariatric surgeon, who bridges the gap between the UK and Turkey. This ensures you receive the highest standard of care and support throughout your journey.
